Fanvue is marketed heavily on a better revenue split than OnlyFans. The headline is worth reading carefully, because the promotional rate and the standard rate are not the same number, and the split is rarely what should decide this anyway.
Short answer
Fanvue pays creators 85% for their first month and 80% after that, the same share as OnlyFans and Fansly from month two. Its homepage, read on 24 September 2026: "you take home 85% of your earnings for your first month, 80% thereafter"; its legal terms: "the standard Creator Earning Rate is 80% of gross revenue", with promotional rates it can change at any time. A five-point platform fee is almost never the deciding factor anyway. Audience size is, and Fanvue's is considerably smaller than OnlyFans'. It makes clear sense in two situations: an AI creator account, which is one of the few legitimate homes for that work, or an established OnlyFans page with spare content capacity. If you are choosing a first platform, it is the harder start.

Should you add Fanvue?
Our honest read: Fanvue makes clear sense in two situations. If you're building an AI creator account, it's one of the few legitimate homes for that work. And if your OnlyFans is running well and you have content capacity to spare, it's a reasonable additional stream.
If neither applies (you're choosing a first platform, or your main account still needs work), the smaller audience makes Fanvue a harder starting point than OnlyFans, and a better platform fee doesn't compensate for fewer people to sell to.

The revenue split, stated carefully

Over a year on $10,000 a month of fan spend, the first month's extra five points are worth $500: $96,500 on Fanvue against $96,000 on OnlyFans. That is the whole of the fee difference.
Where Fanvue genuinely differs
AI creators are permitted. With disclosure requirements, Fanvue openly supports AI-generated creator accounts, something OnlyFans does not allow. For anyone operating in that space, this is the clearest reason to be on Fanvue rather than an argument about percentages.
Payouts. On request after a 7-day pending period that Fanvue can extend to 28, from $20, paid within 3 to 5 business days by bank transfer, MassPay, Cosmo or crypto at a 1% fee. PayPal is not available. How that compares with ten other platforms is on OnlyFans alternatives.
Smaller audience. This is the counterweight to everything above. Fewer fans browse Fanvue than OnlyFans, which means external promotion carries even more of the load. A creator who struggles to drive traffic will struggle more here, not less.
