OnlyFans management for Miami creators
Florida's zero state income tax is the largest real difference between working here and working almost anywhere else. Here is what it is worth on a real figure, and what else about Miami actually matters.
Short answer
The tax position is the real difference, and it is worth putting a number on. Florida levies no individual income tax. On $90,000 of net profit, a creator in Georgia pays about $3,742 in state tax and one in California about $4,492. In Florida both figures are zero, every year, for identical work and identical revenue.
What that does not change is the federal bill, which is the larger number and is the same in all fifty states: self-employment tax of 15.3% on 92.35% of profit, plus federal income tax. The tax page works that through with a calculator. Anyone presenting a no-tax state as a way around the main bill is describing the smaller half.
Beyond tax, most of this work does not depend on where you live. Miami gives you the Eastern time zone, a real production scene and year-round shooting weather. It does not change the commission, the contract, or how an account is run, and we would rather say that than pretend a city is a strategy.
- State income taxNone. Florida levies no individual income tax, which on $90,000 of profit is worth about $3,700 a year against Georgia and $4,500 against California.
- Time zoneEastern, which is where the peak fan hours are.
- Local sceneA dense concentration of photographers, studios and other creators who already understand the business.
- Do I have to be in Miami? No. We work with creators across the US and internationally, and nothing about the service is local.
What Florida's zero actually saves you
Florida is one of nine states with no broad individual income tax, alongside Alaska, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. For a creator, that is the single largest financial difference between locations, and it is almost never quantified.
State tax on $90,000 of net profit
| Florida | $0 |
| Georgia, flat 4.99% after its $15,000 deduction | $3,742 |
| California, progressive, after its $5,706 deduction | $4,492 |
2026 rates. California's figure is before its exemption credit, which reduces it slightly. New York is left out because state and city rates combine differently there; the New York page covers it.
Those are state figures only. The federal bill is identical in all three places, and for most creators it is two to three times the size of any state figure. Florida changes the smaller number, reliably, every year.
The honest caveat: states without an income tax collect elsewhere, through sales tax, property tax and notably high insurance costs in Florida. Depending on how you live, the total burden can close much of that gap. And residency is a factual question about where your life is, not a mailing address; states with income taxes do audit departures.
What the local scene actually gives you
Miami has a genuine density of people who do this work: photographers who have shot for creators before and do not need the concept explained, studio space that rents by the hour, and other creators within reach. That last one is the underrated part. Most of what a creator learns in the first year, she learns from another creator rather than from a guide.
Year-round shooting weather is a real production advantage rather than a marketing line: outdoor and poolside sets are available in February, which in most of the country they are not.
The time zone, and why it shapes the schedule
A large share of US fan activity clusters in the evening Eastern hours. A creator in that time zone is awake during her own peak window rather than several hours offset from it.
For an account where the creator handles some of her own messaging, that alignment is worth real money. For accounts covered around the clock it matters less, but it still decides when we schedule PPV sends and posts.
What the city does not change
Most of this work is remote and does not care where you live. The commission is 30% to 60% of net wherever you are, published before you speak to anyone. The contract is the same, with no minimum term and no notice period: you can leave any time, effective immediately. Your login stays yours, payouts go directly to your own bank, and no commission is charged on what you earn after the agreement ends.
We are in Jacksonville, and we work with creators across the United States and internationally. There is no local office and no local pricing. What genuinely differs by location is the tax position, the time zone, and how easy it is to find a crew, which is why this page covers those three and not much else.
Common questions
Do I need to be in Miami to work with FantasyRise?
No. We work with creators across the United States and internationally, and none of the service depends on location: chat coverage, marketing, pricing and content protection are all remote. We are based in Jacksonville rather than Miami in any case. The reason this page exists is that the Florida tax position and the Eastern time zone are real differences worth quantifying, not because we operate locally.
How much does Florida's lack of state income tax actually save a creator?
On $90,000 of net profit, roughly $3,742 a year against Georgia's flat 4.99% and roughly $4,492 against California's progressive rates, using 2026 figures. It scales with income: at $200,000 of profit the California gap alone runs well into five figures. What it does not change is the federal bill, which is the same in every state and is the larger number for almost everyone.
Is moving to Florida a good tax strategy for an OnlyFans creator?
It is a real saving, and it is not a strategy on its own. The federal bill is identical everywhere and is two to three times the size of most state figures, Florida collects through sales tax, property tax and unusually high insurance, and residency depends on where your life actually is rather than where your mail goes. States with income taxes audit departures. It is a question for an accountant looking at your whole position, not a reason to move.
What is the commission for Miami creators?
The same as everywhere: 30% to 60% of net, published on this site, with the upper end applying when we front startup costs. There is no local pricing, no minimum term, no notice period, and creators keep their own logins throughout.
Sources and corrections
State tax rates are the published 2026 figures and were checked on 10 September 2026. Worked examples use $90,000 of net profit, meaning after the platform's fee, any agency commission and business expenses, so the same figure is comparable across every location on this site. Our own terms, the commission range and the notice period are on how we work.
Tax rules change and figures correct today can be wrong next year, which is why this page carries a last-checked date. If something here is factually wrong, email contact@fantasyrise.com and we will correct it with a dated note.
